Why am I running for Alderwoman of the 33rd Ward?
- I have lived in the 33rd Ward for over 40 years and I care about my community.
- I was asked by members of the community to run and advocate for the community.
- I am not a career politician but I want to make a difference.
- To provide better city services for the entire ward which our community deserves.
- Focus on local issues within the community.
- Use taxpayers dollars more effectively within the ward.
- Provide accessibility and transparency via open community forums.
- To unify our communities by finding common ground.
- Work with law enforcement to provide safer neighborhoods yet hold them accountable.
- To address high and increasing property taxes.
- Find ways to help our teachers so that our children and students thrive
